There's a moment in Ibiza when the music stops being something you hear and becomes something you feel. For the participants of the DJ Trip last July, that moment came early — and it never really went away.
"We've truly experienced so many beautiful things. Had deep conversations, built connections. Enjoyed the music. A truly unique experience."
That quote, from one of the eight participants who joined the trip from Friday the 18th to Wednesday the 22nd of July, sums it up better than any review could.
What was the DJ trip?
The concept was simple but ambitious: take a small group of serious DJ students, fly them to Ibiza, and give them five intensive days of professional-level education in one of the world's most iconic music capitals.
With a maximum of eight participants, the trip was deliberately intimate. This wasn't a music festival package — it was a masterclass.
What was included.
5-day DJ classes at a professional level
Access to pro DJ gear
A stunning villa at Studio Ibiza
A closing party to perform what they'd learned
Daily lunches included
The vibe that moved the walls
One post-trip message from a participant said it all:
"WHAT an unreal experience.. Deep techno vibes from last night's set @studioibiza_nl — played this one in the villa and the walls were vibrating. Late night energy only."
The atmosphere was electric. Participants described the trip as inspirational, transformative and empowering — several walked away feeling genuinely ready to take their DJ career to the next level. The gezelligheid — that untranslatable Dutch word for warmth and conviviality — was real. Connections were made. Confidence was built.
Hosts like Robert and the media coverage from Jennifer received particular praise, and the photo and video branding material produced during the week was a highlight for many.
Episode 2 is coming
The story doesn't end here. Episode 2 of the DJ Trip to Ibiza is already on the horizon, with the same soul: getting serious DJs to the next level, in the best possible place, with the best possible people.
